From stainless steel to timber keepsake boxes, we engrave on hundreds of surfaces. Bring your own items or let us source them. Gold Coast workshop with mail-in service across Australia.
Our laser engraving technology works across an extraordinary range of surfaces including metals, timbers, glass, leather, stone, acrylic and beyond. Whether you're after a personalised gift, corporate branding, industrial labelling or a memorial piece, the material you need is almost certainly something we work with regularly.
Below you'll find our most popular materials, each with its own dedicated service page covering what we can achieve, typical applications, and what to expect from the process. Can't see your material? Browse our full A-Z list or simply contact us, as we test unusual surfaces regularly.
These are the materials we work with most often. Click through for a detailed service page on each one covering what we can engrave, how it looks, and what it costs.
Our most requested material. Stainless steel takes laser engraving exceptionally well, producing a permanent, precise mark that won't fade, rust, or wear away. We work across industrial marking, memorial plaques, pet ID, human ID jewellery and corporate recognition.
Wood engraving produces a warm, contrast-rich result with beautiful depth. We work with hardwoods, softwoods, bamboo, MDF, plywood, and Australian native timbers like Jarrah, Spotted Gum, Blackbutt and Huon Pine. Ideal for personalised gifts and homewares.
Glass engraving creates a frosted, etched appearance that looks striking on clear and coloured glass alike. From wine glasses and whisky tumblers to crystal awards and mirrors, it's one of the most visually impressive results we produce.
Leather engraving creates a distinctive debossed-style mark that adds a premium, artisan finish. We work with full grain, top grain, vegetable tanned, chrome tanned and synthetic leathers across wallets, bags, belts, keyrings and more.
Acrylic is incredibly versatile. Laser engraving creates clean, crisp lines with an almost frosted effect on clear material. We work with cast and extruded acrylic in clear, white, black, coloured, mirrored and frosted finishes.
Slate engraving produces a bright, high-contrast white mark against the dark grey stone. It's a natural, earthy choice that photographs beautifully and suits rustic gift aesthetics and outdoor memorial applications perfectly.
Aluminium is the go-to material for industrial labelling, asset tags, compliance plates and name badges. Anodised aluminium in particular takes laser engraving exceptionally well, producing sharp, permanent marks without damaging the underlying metal.
Brass carries a sense of heritage, prestige and permanence that few materials can match. Engraving on bare or lacquered brass creates a deep, warm contrast ideal for trophies, plaques, commemorative plates and architectural signage.

Yes. Metals like stainless steel, brass and anodised aluminium give exceptionally clean results. Timbers, acrylics and glass also engrave beautifully. Some materials like certain plastics may need an alternative method, and we'll always let you know if that's the case.
Often, yes. Powder coated metals, lacquered timber and painted aluminium can all be engraved. The laser typically removes the coating to reveal the material beneath, creating good contrast. Results vary by coating type and we're happy to do a test piece first.

We service the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, and Brisbane corridor directly, with nationwide mail-in service available for customers across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and beyond.
Unlike large online print-and-gift companies, we're a hands-on local workshop. You can drop in, talk through your project, and often get a same-day or next-day result for urgent jobs. That's something no national shipping operation can compete with. We're well known for stainless steel engraving, timber personalisation, glass etching and leather engraving on the Gold Coast, but our capability extends well beyond those headline materials.
Our minimum order is just $30 with no minimum quantities, which means we happily handle single items as well as bulk corporate orders. Whether you need one engraved piece or 500 branded name badges, the process is the same. Contact us, confirm the material and artwork, and we'll take care of the rest.
Tell us what you have, what you'd like engraved, and we'll come back to you with a price and timeline.
